Inaugural Cortez Electric Boat Marathon. A 25.2 mile electric boat race held in a realatively protected area of Sarasota Sound. The race starts and finishes near the village of Cortez Florida. More Infomation see link at left.
April 17-18--Cortez, Florida
5th Annual Florida Gulf Coast Small Craft Festival at the Florida Maritime Museum at Cortez. Held at the Maritime Museum in the quaint village of Cortez on Sarasota Bay. An outdoor show featuring 100+ small rowing , sailing and paddling and power craft—many are handmade by their owners. Demo rides will be available on a wide range of electric powered boats. The 3rd Annual Food & Wine Festival at National Harbor.
A select few electric boats will be the feature at this event showcasing Washington’s most distinctive cuisine, fine wine, beer and spirits. Electric boat demo rides will be available leaving from the docks at the extraordinary new National Harbor on the Potomac River.

10th Annual Wye Island Electric Boat Marathon. A 24 mile electric boat race held in the Miles River near St. Micheals, MD. which starts and finishes at the Miles River Yacht Club and circles beautiful Wye Island. More information see link at left.
October 2--St. Michaels, MD
28th annual Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival held at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Unquestionably one of the nation’s premier small craft events. Hundreds of amateur and professional boat builders and enthusiasts come from all over the region to display their skiffs, kayaks, and canoes. This is an outdoor activity oriented event and demo rides will be available in a variety of electric boats. More information link coming soon.
